who we are
OUR MISSION
Welcome to the Muscogee (Creek Nation) Veterans Affairs Services Office. We are located on the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Complex in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We honor and pay tribute to our Tribal Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, and Airmen who have proudly served in the United States armed services since World War I to present day.
Our mission is to ensure veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families receive entitled benefits as a result of service in the military. We are dedicated to identifying resources, providing guidance, sharing information, and promoting camaraderie for our tribal veterans and their families in order to maximize opportunities and provide the necessary support.

COME VISIT!

8AM – 5PM Central Standard Time

Our building, pentagon shaped, represents and signifies that we have been and always will be – Vanguard of the Land. Outside our main entrance are four bronze statues representing our Medal of Honor recipient, Ernest C. Childers (World War II), Muscogee Warriors, Muscogee Women in Uniform and our Muscogee Prisoners of War.
Within our halls are dedicated sections for each military branch. As you walk the corridors you will see various artifacts, photos and memorabilia that give a glimpse into the historical significance, personal dedication, commitment and courage of our Muscogee service men and women to our great nation. In the center of our museum and represented by our Fallen Warrior statue is the memorial courtyard which houses plaques reverentially acknowledging our tribal warriors who were: Killed in Action, Died of Wounds in Action and Wounded in Action since World War I.
